Unified Rewards
All participants, regardless of whether they deploy IoT or Mobile Hotspots, will now earn HNT, simplifying the reward structure and making it more accessible for new and existing users.
From implementation date, HNT emissions will bypass MOBILE and IOT treasuries and go directly as rewards instead.
Legacy Support
Until the full implementation of HIP 138, participants in the network will continue to be rewarded in IOT and MOBILE tokens. These tokens will continue to be tradable and redeemable for HNT on Solana.
