The basics

Medical research encompasses many fields of investigation focused on determining the cause, prevention, and treatment of disease. This includes genetics, microbiology, immunology, pathology, virology, clinical and surgical studies, and pharmacology, among others.

Thanks, Olivia. Hi Mechelle, I like to discuss health questions, but I also always add the caveat that a person should talk to their doctor before taking my advice :)
