I want to give thanks to Helium and Amanda for this Transgender Resource Center. It is a wonderful way for transgendered people to write and share who we are and what I believe is extremely important is that anyone can come in here and educate themselves about transgenderism. I am excited about this Transgender Resource Center as I believe it will open some doors for a lot of people. Jalene Marie

    Zapata Trial gets underway- Be sure to follow this piece of history

    • A landmark trial, believed to be the first attempted murder prosecution under a hate-crime law that involves a transgender victim will begin this week in Weld County, Colorado. The trial will determine the fate of the suspect in the brutal murder of Angie Zapata, an 18-year-old transgender who was attacked and killed in her Greeley, Colorado apartment last year. The suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and a “bias-motivated” or hate crime, on top of various other charges.
