Learning Fun for Kids in the Kitchen

When do boys become chefs? They probably caught the cooking flu in their mom's kitchen.
A ten year old kid with ADHD told his teacher, "I want to be a chef." His father is a chef. He is learning to focus better in class because his teacher says he needs Math to measure accurately and English to understand instructions in recipes.
A wide range of skills can be learnt in the kitchen. Measuring, pouring, combining ingredients, rolling out dough and cutting it ..... these may seem child's play to some. To others, they may be as challenging as climbing Mount Everest.
Kids will have fun in the kitchen. There are so many things that kids and their moms can do together in the kitchen.
Chicken pot pie is a nutritious one-dish meal mums and kids can enjoy baking together. Kids can be involved in mixing diced veggies in a bowl, dicing the boiled eggs, rolling out the dough... just let your imagination roll along.
