Adoption

I was thrilled when I found that I was to be a grandma. I was there when he was born and got to hold him when he was minutes old. For two years I enjoyed being just grandma. Then it all went south. Still the grandparent but now, also the parent. We adopted him so I am mom too.

Adoption is a whole different world with many facets to explore. As an adoptive parent, finding information was difficult. I would like to see the adoption channel become the place with all the information people need. If you have topics that are not covered, let me know. Suzanne Bertrand is the Babies subchannel manager. I am a social worker who has enjoyed a career working with babies and families. Raising my two children has added depth to my own practicial knowledge.
