What should you expect?

No one can honestly say they don't expect anything.  So why not look at what grandparents expect of grandchildren as opposed to what grandchildren expect of grandparents?

Are you a cyber grandparent?

Do you live 1,000 miles from your grandchild?  Or do you sit with your grandchildren while they surf?  Check out what you know about Internet safety.

Grandparents

When we were younger, our grandparents seemed so old!  Now that we are grandparents, it is a fact: Grandparents are not old.

A new generation of grandparents has emerged.  No more plastic covered couches and stuffy sitting rooms. No smell of moth balls and antiseptic.

Instead, we have IKEA colored homes, golf clubs in the closet and Glade Plug Ins with aromatherapy scents.  Our grandchildren think coming to our house is "cool".

And why shouldn't it be?  We have time to spend with them, interesting hobbies, more knowledge than the entire high school faculty and the world's best food!

Celebrate your grandparenthood!  You have survived long enough to see your child get precisely what he deserved...a child just like him.  The fun part is you get to fill her full of sugar and love and gifts and send her home!

Wanna see your face here? Send me a picture of you (grandparents only!). Send me one of you and your grandchild or you and your spouse. I would love to hear from some single grandparents, too.
