Just a quick note to any Vets receiving VA compensation- a check of $250 is slated to start going out in June and should reach everyone by the end of July as a part of the stimulus package. If you get direct deposit it will arrive electronically.

Thank-you for creating this page. It is a help to both older vets and retirees like myself and newer vets like my son. It's great to have all of this information in one location.

As a Disabled Vet I would like to thank you for this. It looks great and is very helpful. The transition between Military life and civilian life is not easy and when you are disabled it is even worse. This can be very helpful for Veterans. Thanks

Thank you Nan, and thank your sons as well for all they have done! It is because of them and millions like them over the years we can all rest a little easier and enjoy the freedoms we have.

Great page. Our two sons served with the USMC, so I have a tender heart for all our vets. Their sacrificial service and commitment to protect the folks "back home" are indeed worthy of honor. I salute you for building this zone!

Thank you Ernest! I do agree it is important we do whatever we can for our Vets to make sure they get all the help they need. So often it is easy to forget about their sacrifices once the uniform comes off. We all owe these brave and wonderful men and women a debt of gratitude.

Thanks for creating this page I think it is very important that we remember our vets. Those who are vets can use the resources you have provided here. I will link this to my page. God bless you
