Caring for the environment

I decided to create this zone to bring together ideas for a sustainable lifestyle. The world we live in is a fragile organism and it is up to us, the occupants, to care for it and make sure it is still able to provide for our future generations.

The issues I'd like to focus on are:

  • sustainable use of resources - renewable energy and  recycling
  • organic food production - growing your own, and farming
  • maintaining habitats for our diminishing wildlife, and care of natural ecosystems.

I hope this will provide a useful point of reference or be of interest to anyone with the same concerns.

With ever decreasing fish stocks in our oceans the "Fish fight" campaign highlighted in the Youtube video below makes some great points and is well worth a watch.
