This zone aims to give you the information necessary to be able to make some money online, without cash outlay and quite Coinseasily.

You may not think that such money is free but it will require little, if any, work and can almost mean that you are in effect being paid for playing online. The name of the zone had to be changed from its original and so Free Online Money seemed to fit the bill.

How much you earn will depend on you and how much time you have to spare. However, please note that none of these sites require a fee. Personally, Ethel would say, do not join any site which claims to offer you a way to make money, if you have to pay a joining fee. Similarly if the site seems to be too good to be true, then it probably is. Ethel Smith has been a member of all the sites that are recommended here, unless otherwise stated.

Loads of moneyOver the last couple of years many of the survey and review sites on-line have been revamped and amended. Overall they still offer some welcome extra cash. Some survey sites only pay in gift vouchers, which may be for Argos, Waterstones, HMV, Tesco, Next, Amazon or John Lewis. Others send a cheque but only after a certain level of earning has been reached. Review websites and Mystery Shopping usually pay by cheque or Paypal. A Paypal account is easy to open and manage. Fancy trying your hand at Mystery Shopping?. There are many such sites on-line to join. Try googling Mystery Shopping and you will see for yourself. However, take care. Only use reputable sites and never pay a fee to join. Remember that you will have to take into account costs such as:-

With competitions, the marketplace, bonuses and much more it is easy to achieve some decent money. Payout is made once you have at least 25 dollars in your account. Do not be deterred if this seems hard to achieve initially as you will soon see the money roll in. As always a little perseverance will help.

Writing at HubPages.com can also make you money. This time the money you make will be via referrals, amazon affiliates, adsense, other ads and EBay.

It takes time and a good base of Hubs for you to start earning money.

The community can be fun if that's your sort of thing.

InfoBarrel.com is fairly new on the article writing scene. It looks set to grow though. InfoBarrel has increased its minimum word count for articles and so it will be as well to aim for 500 words if possible. It has a nice easy to follow format and is very user friendly.

Money is earned by affiliate programs such as google adsense payments and competitions.

Greasypalm does give you the opportunity to earn some decent money, but it does depend on your likes and dislikes. For example, the cashback offers may require you to join a Bingo site for a minimum period. However, some offers are for insurance and utility deals. There are free daily clicks though that soon add up. It is possible though to earn some decent money and I have recently reactivated my membership.

There is a joining bonus payable, surveys, competitions, daily clicks and quizzes.

ARCHERFISH

Earnings are small but payout from Archerfish is available once you hit £3. There are paid daily clicks, quizzes and competitions which mean that this site offers a little pocket money and some entertainment. It can sometimes feel not worth the effort though.

TOPCASHBACK

Topcashbackis free to join and charges no annual fee. It offers a low payout as long as you leave a little time between each request. Payments can be made by paypal, cheque or to a bank. All are free but using a paypal account offers you a possible payout sooner, as the payout threshold is less. Topcashback now pay a TOP-UP which, depending on your month's activity on the site, increases your payments.

YOUGOV offers suveys with a difference. This site offers surveys that often are about your politics, current affairs, the economy and more. Each survey usually pays 50p or 75p and they are easy and quick to complete accurately. Earnings are not paid until you reach £50 which can take quite some time but is worth it in the end.

Ciao.co.uk is a review site where it is failry easy to make some money. You can write reviews about everyday products, write creatively in the Ciao Cafe, build up an on-line circle of friends and rate other members reviews. Earnings depend on the product. Modern, new products will usually attract a higher fee. Each month the Premium Fund is shared and this can top up your earnings. Earnings are paid into a bank account once you have at least £5.

Ciao surveys are now on a separate site although you can link via a Ciao account.

Writing reviews on dooyoo.co.uk has become more profitable lately in many ways. Each review, over 150 words long, will receive 50p plus a small amount each time a member reads and rates your review. Reviews can be on travel, household goods, music, television and much more. The referral scheme is fairly new to Dooyoo and is via email again.

Once you have earned £10 you can be paid with an Amazon voucher. Above £10 it is in multiples of £5. So £15, £20, £25 for example. To be paid in cash you will need to have earned £50 but this takes less time than you would perhaps think.

Epinions is a review site that pays for your opinions written in the form of reviews of films and the like. The site pays in dollars and it is easier to be paid if you are a US resident. For UK writers payment is after you have reached a certain amount and is subject to tax regulations.

You can make a tidy sum of cash on this site but will need to be active by rating other reviews also.

For May 2009 Epinions is paying an increased level of payment to increase activity.

 

Lightspeed send easy to complete surveys on a regular basis. Payout can be for as low as a £1 paypal payment. Payments are in the form of gifts or paypal payments. Each survey will usually pay at least £1 if not nore and most are easily completed in about 15 minutes.

Honesty is a priority when completing these and other surveys.

Home of research

The Homeofresearch website has been revamped recently. However the surveys and payments are as good as ever. Invitations to take part in on-line forums usually receive a payment of £25 to £30 for just a couple of hours work on-line. Subjects are often banks and insurance products. Ordinary surveys are fairly regular and it does not take too long to reach the £20 payout threshold.

VALUEDOPINIONS is another survey site that pays in gift vouchers. Still they are for handy places and products and can be gifted to charity. Payout is at £10 or more.

Global Testmarket offers payout once you have racked up 1,000 marketpoints, which is worth 50 US dollars. Membership is available in the UK as well as in the US. Surveys are frequent and you will receive a small payment even if you are clicked out of the full survey.

IPSOS was previously MORI polls. It may be that it now only accepts members by invitation. Email epanel-uk@ipsos-online.com to find out. Earnings are good on IPSOS for surveys but are in the form of gift vouchers for £2, £5 and £10 for places such as John Lewis, Argos, and more. These vouchers do come in handy though, especially around Christmas time.
