For the Love of Board Games

Star Wars Monopoly

Whether played by families, friends, or couples, board games bring people together.

Board games are popular not only because they are fun to play -- although they are fun! -- but because of the laughing and talking that happens during the game. And with a wide variety of board games available, there is something for everyone!

Board games teach children how to take turns and follow rules. There are educational board games to strengthen a variety of skills and playing games teaches kids how to win, or lose, graciously.

For adults, game nights help friends and family members stay in touch. With hectic schedules and family commitments, having a planned weekly or monthly game night is a great way to get together!

This site is dedicated to board games and those who love to play them. Check back often for great articles about board games, links to featured games, polls, and more!

I love this zone, Susan! We played board games throughout my childhood and continue to enjoy them. No matter how many PC games are created, no matter how good they are, they will never truly replace a great board game. I'll be back to read more of what you've posted here. Thanks for an outstanding page! ~Jim http://www.helium.com/zone/990-jim-bessey-writers-portfolio
