Where Knowledge Rules

Signs Of Life By John Ecko

About This Book

This new book is a year in the making and I was encouraged by my wife to go forward with it when she said to me, "I don't even read poetry, but this is something different and you don't realize your reading poetry because it catches the eye and drags you in."  With her words as well as the warm welcome I've received for my work here in the Poetry Coffee House here at Helium, I decided to put this work together.  I even had some help by another coffee house member who would rather stay out of the lime light so I'll just say that he did some "ghost writing" for me on this project.

Signs of Life is a unique collection of visual/concrete poems that stretch the imagination, taking the reader on a journey beneath the surface of man. From love to hate, politics to religion, the beautiful to the macabre; this book explores the many footprints left by the human race for the better, and sometimes the worse.

I hope you have a chance to check out my latest work and you can find everything from an easier to read preview to purchasing information by visiting my visual poetry site called Eckovision's Visual Poetry at   http://eckovision.wordpress.com/

If you have any questions regarding my work or just about visual poetry in general, or would like to just tell me what you think, please feel free to come on over to my site and drop a comment at the Guest Book page.  It is my hope to make Eckovision a place for visual poets to share, promote and discuss visual poetry.  If you would like to post your work there, I'm always willing to look it over.

Thanks for listening,

ecko.
