What is Endometriosis?

The endometrium is the lining of the uterus.  Endometriosis occurs when the endometrium grows in places besides the uterus. 

Endometriosis affects more the five million women in the United States alone and is one of the most common causes for infertility.

Good zone. I have already started an endometriosis group which I hoped would help sufferers get together. Do you think that you could link it to this zone. I understand if the answer is no. The group might become more active with exposure here. As a sufferer I know what an intrusive this condition can be and how lonely.
