Basic Information about Me

I am a 50 year old freelance writer. I have held many hats in the past but I can honestly say freelance writing is by far the most rewarding and satisfying experience I have ever had.

Granted, I am not perfect by any means but by being able to express myself I am able to release a lot of tension and find some peace and contentment in my life.

I live in the country and love to sit on my deck and watch the deer! My image is of deer in my backyard. Nature is a beautiful site and calming. I also love to read, crochet, garden, play video games and write!

I have 6 raindeer chihuahuas who think they are 10 foot tall and bullet proof! But yet, they turn and run if they see a bug!!

I have been married 31 years with 2 grown children (thank God!).

I believe everyone has the capacity to learn more as each day comes. No matter what it is, learning something new is great!

It's that time of year when we dig out the gardening tools and tiller.

Planting a garden is really a lot of fun. Yes, it is hard work but it is satisfying at the same time because you are providing the freshest vegetables and fruit to your family without all the chemicals.

Not to mention the savings on grocery bills.

If you are going to plant tomatoes and peppers, get some seeds now and fill an empty egg cartion with potting soil and a few seeds in each cavity. Water and place in a sunny window.

By the time the last frost is over, your plants will be big enough for replanting.
