on May 19, 09 at 10:05 PM As I started to think about it I realize now that there is great wonders to be found when you travel through life on a bicycle, there are many things that would otherwise be lost and forgotten, passed up as so many things are when traveling in a car going 55.
It is not only in the benefits to the environment that each grows and becomes better through but it is also in the health benefits gained through that specific journey. Extending life by taking life at a different pace, through human power. There are some who realise that in example this quote from New York Times;
Residents of this upscale community are suburban pioneers, going where few soccer moms or commuting executives have ever gone before: they have given up their cars.

From the build to the production stage, and there is so much more to come in the not to distant future, as particularly, in the economy today, whatever means you can save money would make sense, and really there is little other choice in the matter. So why not take the time now to explore this alternative to travel by automobile, that improves your health and the environment. What more can you ask for, as the journey it continues.
With stage 1 just getting started, the progress should be constant moment by moment, such as focusing forward in life. With Amgen Tour Of California kicking off as the day begins tomorrow, I will offer what I can, explore the situation, from my own perspective so keep checking back, as I setup some feeds specific for the Tour on Feb 13, 09 at 12:17 AM An Exploration of Helium Zones
Stage 1:
As I begin this journey in to what can be and what is, Helium Zones, They seem a fine idea, it is merely a matter of exploration. So on this day of the second month of a new year, this aspect of my lives journey Begins, and the Zone begins to take shape.

Thefts at Amgen? Why would someone even consider that?

The thief cut the padlock on Armstrong's Team Astana trailer parked in an alley on L Street between 15th and 16th streets some time between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Sacramento Police Sgt. Norm Leong said. Of the 26 bikes parked inside, the thief or thieves grabbed the first four they could reach, including Armstrong's bike and three others belonging to teammates, Leong said.

Updated: A total of four bikes were stolen from the Astana Team Trailor, parked in an alley before Stage 1 of the Amgen Tour of California Begin this morning, thieves break a padlock and take the first four. Does it seem like it was planned or just a chance occurence?
Why would someone steal a time trial bike from Amgen? Not to mention there was other thefts there at the event, with Lance Armstrong returning back to the mix, what will it look like before it is over? Get the word out about the bike, a reward is offered and charma will most certainly bite back.
Such a sad story, but guess it can also say why it is important to keep your bike secure, even if it is at a very specific cycling event, which it's purpose is to help sufferers of cancer. Does it seem Unconsciousable to you?

Let us hope for the sake of this tour, that is a fact, no news on the others that were stolen.Hopefully more good news coming soon.

Another interesting ride from Monterey to Salinas, after being so fortunate, to see a part of what appeared to be a bike race %u2013 though the details are sketchy %u2013 though more research is in order. Also seeing a walk a thon that originated at Dennis the Menace Park. It did seem to be quite the day for Outdoor Activity so I was glad to have made the trip out there. An amazing ride today, not only because it was a beautiful day but the fact that I did the entire ride with only two pieces of bread with Peanut Butter on them in the morning and water for lunch, nearly running over a skunk on the way back.
