I live in London but would to travel to Latin America next year to hopefully teach English. I am not going to pretend that writing is a passion of mine or soothes my soul , because it is does not. Imust now add though after completing 20 articles I can see the addiction to this fascinating site which appears to inspire a little creativity within me!
However, every now and again but only just recently, I decided to put my thoughts down on paper in order they simply do not evaporate or are down loaded into my brain's memory bank and lost forever.
I have lived quite a varied life leaving school at 16 and worked for a multi-national oil company for 13 years. It was a well paid job and very boring but if I had remained I would probably be comfortably retired on hefty pension by now. When I reached 30 I decided to see part of the world and went to visit Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil for a while.
I came back 10 years later in 1998, was unemployed for 4 years because employers must of thought I was inside prison rather than living abroad and I found it difficult to find work. I eventually found employment in the support sector, helping vulnerable people gain life skills and I have dedicated my time to this work since.
Because of government cuts to public spending, this has had an impact on work availability and also employers and employees scruples, so I am thinking of heading South West again to relive part of the world that I find so enchanting.
