I am a channel manager for the ancient history channel.
I enjoy learning about ancient civilizations, Tudor England, the Middle Ages and most other areas of history. I was a teacher for over 10 years, most of the time in the sixth grade. I taught these endearing, challenging and emotionally changing students history, science, Bible, along with other lessons that would come along in everyday life.
One of these lessons was my passion for knitting, and crocheting. When the students learned that I knit and crocheted, they asked if I could teach them how to do these crafts also. So we would spend the end of the day, if their homework was done, in our little group filled with yarn and the clicking of the needles. These kids usually came away at the end of the year with either a dishcloth or a scarf.

There would have been concerns in their courtship as Mary’s family was aristocracy and John’s were not. Robert Arden died in 1556, so that any difficulties he may have had, died with him.
