About me - Stephanie Music

About me

I entered college with the aspirations of being a writer. I was gently steered towards education, informed by more than one professor that professional writing is a hard egg to crack and wouldn't make the kind of money that would provide a comfortable living. After much persuasion and realizing my love of teaching, I pursued a career in education. I did not give up on my writing, but placed dreams of doing it professionally on the back burner while teaching school. After having a beautiful baby girl last year, I decided to become a stay at home mom and educate her myself.

I have always written in a journal. In 2004-2005, I also published several unpaid online music reviews in former online magazine Kyndmusic, never considering myself a freelance writer. It was the birth of my daughter that taught me that dreams do come true! I found myself wanting something that was solely mine. Writing has always been that for me. So begins the story of my freelance writing career.

I am currently working on a novel and also hope to write articles that can provide me with opportunities to prove it is possible to write for a living! It's never to late to fulfill a dream and my time is now!
