I'm a farm kid, who has had a very fortunate life. Born and raised in Georgia, I was blessed to have attended Duke University and the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law.
While I love to write articles, I am an accomplished researcher and produced screenwriter. I penned the feature, Camp DOA (Magic City Films), which premiered at the Pan African Film Festival in February 2008. Film is my newest love and I am a partner in Shockoe Productions, where I have learned to do everything from operating a Canon to set dressing.
In addition to writing and my legal career, I am a proud mother of four grown children. I am a member of several community oriented organizations, including the Special Olympics, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, and the Greater Richmond Juvenile Bar Association.
