I am a very happy full time housewife and stay-at-home mom. A career choice I consider a promotion from the world of working outside the home, by the way. A native of Pensacola, FL, I currently reside in the East Alabama area with my husband, three teenage children and three dogs. I am an avid woodworker and gardener although other interests include family, children, teens, the outdoors, art/painting, religion, Christianity, politics and alternative medicine. I love to write on these subjects and more often from a humorous point of view.

Why I write ...

So softly I speak; to be heard, I shall write. Well, that and I just enjoy writing. Kind of like Johnboy Walton, "sometimes I feel like I'm going to explode if I don't write it down."

Having worked in the child-care industry for many years prior to becoming a parent, I thought I was quite the expert on raising children.
