About me - Bob Mundle

About me

Hi, I'm not quite sure what to put on here, but maybe just simple things - 58 years of age, live in S W Scotland - love the written word in all its various forms and am trying to get better at putting my feelings down on paper...still got a long way to go...hope whatever I post gives some pleasure to whoever reads it.

I've been very lucky to meet some great people and read some wonderful work on Helium, and was very surprised and delightedthat one of my poems was included in the Helium Holidays Anthology last December.

I've just published my first novel, Margaret & Harry, on Amazon Kindle which was a great thrill but scary too - will anyone read it?  Like it? Probably not - but hey, at least it is out there now.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

writing and reading - especially biography and poetry

I know too much about ...

Myself! Boring subject

My parents always told me ...

Treat others as you would like to be treated

My childhood ambition ...

To visit the moon

My favorite memory ...

My mother

Why I write ...

Because I need to - something inside me has to find a way out, to communicate with the world

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Elisabeth Peters - one of her fun books abotu the Archeologist Peabody and her family/ Listening to Streisand, Love is the Answer - sublime.

My first job ...

Office boy - a very bad and cheeky one

My best moment ...

Too personal to put on here

My inspiration ...

All those wonderful writers who have gone before, are now, and are still to come ...I just wish I could be a miniscule as good as them
