Hello All!

I have been in the Emergency Services working as a FireFighter and a Paramedic for seventeen years.

About eleven years ago, I believe, I was bitten by a Lyme infested tick and my health has slowly declined since then.

Now my days are spent either writing short stories, poetry or working on a book I have in the works. Talking to my friends online or spending time with my family. All of the above I tend to do from the confines of my bed or on a particularly good day, the living room couch!

My passion is ...

My hubby, my children,my best friend, my dogs and of course writing!

Mental disease, medicine, healthcare, cancer, Lyme disease, governmental interference, unfair treatment of the underpriviledged.

My parents always told me ...

think for yourself, don't take it sitting down, stand up for what you believe in, support the under dog.

My childhood ambition ...

To write, to help everyone that I could, to be independent.

My favorite memory ...

Lyme has taken them from me.

Why I write ...

To express myself, to cleanse myself of bad thoughts and feelings, to tell someone how I feel about them. The list goes on.
