I am a 28 year old military spouse and mother of a one year old little girl who has recently moved from the city to the very remote country. I went from living in a city of over 1,000,000 people to living two and a half hours away from the nearest Target. In the city , I was employed as a civil engineer, but my family's recent move and the changing economy has given me the opportunity to explore some different career fields.
I'm currently working towards my certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor. Many of my articles have been adapted from lectures, notes, and handouts I have given and/or created while working towards my hours requirement. While most of my writing is geared towards a younger audience, many people in their 40s and 50s have told me they have learned something from my work.
I have also started to write about other subjects with which I have had some experience, such as parenting, military life, and domestic issues.
