I have been writing in a public forum for over two years now and I have found that Helium has been a great avenue to cure the writing bug that often infects me. I hope to one day complete a novel and perhaps a guide for the military NCO written from an NCO's perspective. In regards to my Helium writing my primary focus is Space and other sciences but I dabble in a little bit of everything. I pretty much write to what sounds good to me at the time.
Professionally, I have been in the Air Force for just over nine years now and can’t say I have loved “every” minute of it but it has been a great experience for me. I have had the pleasure to serve in Alaska, Maryland, Ohio, and Afghanistan with visits to Las Vegas, San Antonio, Amsterdam, Qatar, and Germany along the way. The military has been good to me over the years so I don’t see why I won’t stay in another 11 years.
I possess an A.A.S. in Communications Applications Technology which I earned through the Community College of the Air Force. I also have a B.S. in Space Studies and undergraduate certificate in Military Leadership Studies from American Military University. I recently applied to the graduate school at the University of North Dakota so I can earn a Master's Degree in Space Studies and should hear back from them soon. One day I hope to return to American Military University or perhaps even Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to be a professor once my graduate school courses are completed.
A key component to military service is participating in professional societies and groups which I do through the International Institute of Space Commerce, Society of Satellite Professionals International, National Space Society, Planetary Society, Air Force Sergeants’ Association, and my unit’s Top 4 Association.
My family is the most important thing to me next to my relationship with God and my wife has been a guiding light in my life since we got married in 2004. We have three beautiful girls named Alee Payge, Raegan Noel-Marie, and Mia Joy who light up our lives and keep my wife’s hands very busy during the day. Our one and only son was born on September 7, 2011 and due to my love of history and my wife's love of the movie Troy, we have decided to name him Troy Robert Garrison Freeman which loosely means "famous soldier."

Every Presidential Election that occurs in the United States is marked by key speeches, campaign-ending debate remarks, and changing American opinions which combine into a candidates success or failure. For the most part the success and failure of any individual presidential candidate revolves around their stances and political track record on key issues. The Presidential Election in 2012 that will showcase incumbent President Barack Obama fighting for his current position against a slew of Republican and Independent candidates will assuredly have its high and low moments where a candidate...
