I'm a transplanted Texan who was born in Georgia and grew up in Florida and Louisiana. I have a son and two daughters. And I have a grandson and granddaughter who are growing up too fast. They are the loves of my life. I'm also a pet owner, I have a very energetic Maltese who keeps me busy.
I have worked in healthcare for over thirty years. I work on staff full time in a long term care nursing and rehab facility. Occasionally I work for Hospice where I provide one-on-one care for terminal or imminent patients. This care is also extended in support for the families.
Some of the things I enjoy are reading, sewing, crocheting, and listening to music. I also enjoy gardening but I don't do it so much anymore because I watch too much tv. I love watching movies and crime stories-especially "who-dunits".
And now I get to write, which is something I've always wanted to do, but got busy with "life". Writing is such a great form of expression and communication. At this point in my life, I am so excited about realizing yet another dream.
