Betty is originally from the Caribbean(Jamaica). Presently, she resides in South Florida. She enjoys the climate as it reminds her of her tropical domain. She also loves the different cultures/languages/foods. Currently, Betty earns her living in the Health Field. One thing she knows for sure is that without your health, eveything else has less meaning. She previouly worked in Adminstration, Customer Service, (the Airline Industry) and Sales for many years. Those experiences gave her the invaluable opportunities to interact with different types of people.
Betty has a passion for the written word. She fell in love with writing about 15 years ago when she started penning her journal/s. She has done some unpublished work over the years mainly in Creative Writing. Her goal is to pen a best seller in the near future. Helium is a god-send because it allows her work to be previewed by the Helium community and others.
In her down-time, she takes pleasure in the simple things in life. It gives her great joy to cater to my loved-ones by experimenting with dishes from different cuisines and learning about wines. She loves to mingle with nature, dance, dine out. She also loves a wide genre of music from reggae, soft rock, jazz, R/B and Alternative, etc. Art shows and museums are definately up on the list. She is curious about other cultures and people. Presently, she is learning to speak and write Spanish....it is quite a task, but an enjoyable one!
Betty is a work in progress. And, the best is yet to come for her.....the sky is the limit!

Oh, there was a song in my heart for a long, long time. Now, I can't imagine the calamity you have placed upon my poor frail heart. It seems sometimes that I've flat-lined. Without a doubt, it's the result of a broken heart. I guess, many would consider me to be quite silly and very much a fool to have worn my heart upon my sleeves. I reckon I'm paying dearly for how I've allowed you to treat me. Lately, I've ...
