As both a writer and a spoken word artist, I have a love for words. The right words can help a fledgling business attract a new customer base. The right words can spark a much needed debate. The right words can promote an event that would have, otherwise, gone unnoticed and unattended. The right words can heal both the writer and the reader.
My experience includes:
- Third place winner of Helium's previous Rhythm & Blues writing contest
- Numerous articles sold through Helium's Marketplace
- Featured poet/spoken word artist on Louisville, KY's WGZB 96.5 FM, "The Streets Are Talking" radio show
- Two-time featured artist at Expressions of You Coffeehouse and Cafe, Louisville, KY
- Spoken word artist for Arts Council of Louisville's "After Derby Glow" fundraiser, May 3, 2009
- Event host for CD release party for Real of Reallikeu Productions, Louisville, KY, May 5, 2009
- Top 3 of 30something Entertainment's Crowd Fave Poetry Set, April 10, 2009
- Top 3 of 30something Entertainment's Crowd Fave Poetry Set II, May 8, 2009
- Featured writer for onyxlouisville.com
