As both a writer and a spoken word artist, I have a love for words. The right words can help a fledgling business attract a new customer base. The right words can spark a much needed debate. The right words can promote an event that would have, otherwise, gone unnoticed and unattended. The right words can heal both the writer and the reader.

My favorite memory ...

the birth of my children, seeing Elvis in concert with my grandmother when I was 7, seeing The Rolling Stones in concert at Churchill Downs just a few years ago with my mother, celebrating University of Kentucky championships...this list is not necessarily in order :)

because it is essential to my well-being.

I'm reading any and all poetry by Byron La Neal Armstrong/I'm watching my grandson amaze me during his first year of life/I'm listening to a wonderful debut poetry CD by spoken word artist Real, out of Louisville, KY.
