About me - Bob Schmidt

About me

With extensive music business experience, I joined Helium to satisfy the urge to write informal articles in areas of personal interest. With nearly 700 articles written, I continue to enjoy  writing, and additional tasks involved with stewarding the Politics, News, and Issues channel for Helium.

As a member of the Editorial Advisory Board, title writing and editing are areas of responsibility as well. Being involved in the quality of the titles and content is quite satisfying.

Anyone interested in information about the steward program, or comments from an experienced member of the Helium community need only email me with their questions. I am happy to help in any capacity that might be useful. Comments regarding my articles are always welcome, as well.

In closing, I offer one of my favorite quotes from Sir Winston Churchill:

"To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder, and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour."

It makes me clean up the clutter of my mind.
