By day I'm an Engineer and Project Manager working in manufacturing industry. I'm something of an authority on machine vision and automated inspection, and have a background in "Lean Manufacturing. I am both a Certified Engineering Manager and a Project Management Professional, which means that my real expertise is in planning, coordinating and managing technical people and activities.
But at sundown a transformation takes place. I kick back on the deck in open-toed sandals, a laptop on my knee and a glass of pinot at hand. Yes, I become a writer, a bohemian creature driven to share my opinions on almost any subject you care to choose. Well, in all honesty, I should say "aspiring writer", for while I'd love to earn a crust, (hopefully more,) through the craft of Wordsmith, for now I'm honing my skills, sharpening my vocabulary, and studying the work of those more skilled than I.
