My name is Amber Benge and I am passionately pursuing using my words to impact the world. Over the last few months, I have had a keen awareness that God was calling me to a dangerous surrender of sorts. I have searched my heart and listened to Godly counsel. I believe He has led me pick up my pen (or keyboard!) and write. Writing is the only way to leave a lasting imprint on the world around us. God puts great value on writing, as He even gave us His written Word through the Scriptures. In John 1:1, the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." Jesus is referred to as "The Word." I desperately want my words to bring him glory.
A little about my personal life... I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost five years and we have two beautiful children. I do not work outside the home, as they are more than adequate to keep me busy full-time! In between diaper changes and silly songs, I try to find some time for freelance writing.
