Dr. Bauers is a freelance author and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in her field. She is the author of "Three Questions to Heal a Marriage," a workbook for couples desiring a Christian marriage.
Deborah also writes for AllAboutLifeChallenges.com, an on-line search engine that provides information on a variety of mental health and relational issues. She has prior experience as a newspaper mental health columnist and is an adjunct Professor for Kings College and Seminary.

Deborah is a former recipient of the Pulitzer Citizen Journalism Award for her essay on Latin America's views of US politics in light of the pervasive influence of Venezuela's President, Hugo Chavez.
Deborah makes her home in Colorado with her husband, John. She and her husband, have directed their passion, faith, experience and energies into Threefold Cord Ministries, a non-profit organization that exists to strengthen marriage and families. TCC is currently partnering with Secure Church, to train and mobilize church and school leaders in how to minister in the aftermath of a critical incident.
