A mid-westerner by upbringing, I have lived in 22 different places. I have three sons and now I spend most of my time in Minnesota. My professional life has revolved around teaching and performing classical music, however, I have always written about many other things.
I've been published by the IONS review as well as a South American journal of health. I founded a think tank and worked as a consultant, having developed specific creative processes for development and transformation. The context and the questions I use have been cited by management guru, Andrew Finlayson as well as in post-graduate medical texts. I wrote a newsletter for some years and have published articles locally where I have lived.
Life is ever expanding with the following stipulations; I am no more than four hours from family, there are two pets in the house, no more than two feet of snow outside, and at least two sides to every argument.

Red Juice
How bored I used to be sitting through concerts, listening to long unintelligible tracts of sound all mixed together that were pleasant, but were without meaning for a child, (except for the possibility of finding some kind of "red juice" at a reception if there was one). Today I listen to the same music, probably the same pieces; Tchaikovsky or Beethoven. Of course, I know I am listening to Tchaikovsky now, but who's to say what I was listening to as a child. Becoming more aware of the rise and fall of mountains of sound filled many hours at home and in life.
