HELLO! I'm 57 years old, young at heart,and retired.
I'm happily married,have 3 children all grown,with
7grands ! I have always had a desire to write even as a child.Retired now, with more time on hand, and with taking one day at a time and making life a little more easier than usual,I am really enjoying life doing what God wants me to do,letting him lead me instead of me doing things my way.

One of my favorite things I enjoy is writing.
I would write because it is therapy for the heart and soul.A busy mind is not a devils playground and words are a precious way of expressing ones self.
I love the Bible, arts and crafts, my grandchildren.Why writng is so important to me is that it is one way of sharing ,and sharing is caring, and that's what life it is all about.

I will never forget the day that Happiness Magazine sent me my first check or the day when I was chosen Editor's choice award for the poem I submitted. It was a little bit of a dream that had come true and a small accomplishment, something I've really wanted to do all my life.
I am so proud that I have found a place where we all can share and learn more about our world...Thank you Helium!
