Ray graduated from University College London having completed an MSc degree in Archaeology. He loves writing and coming up with new ideas that make people think, challenge old assumptions, and make a difference in whatever way. Ray is an avid infovore and loves knowledge just for the sake of it; so much to learn, so little time!
Ray's interests include: Science Fiction writing (unpublished), TV programme writing (uncommissioned), Archaeology, Photography, and Sports (athletics, football, American football).
He is also a committed member of The Mars Society and has attended EuroMars conferences. Ray cunningly lives without a fridge, a microwave, satellite TV, iPods/iPhones, and can't drive. He's a self-confessed 21st century caveman....and loves it!
As the former Arts and Humanities Channel Manager, and the steward for Ancient History, Ray has gladly served the Helium cause and plans to spend his 'retirement' writing articles and tending to his own novels. Please do not hesitate to contact Ray for any advice or info.
Cheers.
