Author, columnist, freelance writer and researcher.... I have worn many hats during my two decades of writing and consulting career. Yet, as a has-been scriptwriter and TV / print journalist, journalism continues to be the passion even today.
As a writer I have explored a wide range of topics .... albeit, it is stuff I am passionate about that brings out the best in me. Any research centric stuff that requires thinking outside the box, sure sparks my imagination and stimulates my mind......whereas tjhe techno and legal savvy, hogs my priority list.
Here at Helium, managing the Hinduism Channel for the past three years, gave me an amazing insight into life .... helped me grow as an individual, a parent and as a writer. An exciting addition wasmy role as Channel Manager, "Travel - Asia", for both 'Destinations' and 'Adventures & Diaries'.
If you have travelled to Asia, you'd know why it 'grabs you' and remains etched in your mind as a vivid montage of traditional splendour. Coming in the wake of winning a couple of travel writing contests, it sure has lend wings to my travel shoes!
