I grew up in northwest Florida. I have camped and hiked in the many forests that fill this region. I admire ecosystems, and the process of photosynthesis that gives us the air we breath. I like reading American history, studying maps, and viewing homes and gardens.

I have a background in education, living in Paraguay, Mexico, and Germany, and visiting many other countries. I have been in real estate sales since 2004. Owning a home in fee simple, is what has attracted many to the United States throughout its history.

Two goals that I have met in my life are: 1. Became fluent in Spanish. 2. Earned a Master's degree.

We got ourselves into this mortgage mess basically because of forgetting to obey the Golden Rule. Simply, if we follow the teachings of wisdom, we would not be in this economic situation.

The mortgage lenders have not been following wisdom, and instead have been following dishonest practices, and allowing consumers to get a mortgage loan with almost nothing down, little if any underwriting, stated income as opposed to full-documentation, and providing risky mortgage products, such as the ARMs (Adjustible Rate Mortgages). I will break each of these down.
