: About Me

Greetings!  My name is Sam Smart, and I am writer and humanitarian who graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University.  I am now studying geography at Ball State University, hoping to receive a master's degree.  As a Helium member, I write and fact-check articles, while working as a manager for the Atmosphere & Weather channel. 

I work as a treasurer for the Men's Ministry at my church.  As an American, I should always be the best I can be.  Moreover, I am very good at being courteous to people, and God will always be first to seek to.

I love to write. I have written one novel and several short stories, with more coming as I work as a gifted writer.  I even wrote a few columns for my local newspaper. Back in college, my professors certainly enjoyed my written word. Their compliments cannot go into waste, so here I am publishing articles on Helium.

I am an artistic person. I enjoy music, singing, and playing my trumpet. Drawing is my exciting pastime as well. I spend time sketching cartoons and I often create greeting cards for my wonderful family.

I definitely enjoy geography and travel.  Traveling is an excellent way to explore Earth's beautiful lands. When I am not terribly busy, I often spend quality time relaxing outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. Hopefully, I can have the time to visit Quebec in Canada because it is so beautiful!

Computers are considered to be one of my favorite things, as I indeed enjoy typing. I am passionate for health, and I enjoy exercising. It is not easy, but I still do so to promote a healthy lifestyle for myself.

As a freelance writer, my goal is to help change the world and share exciting stories and interesting facts. I hope that everyday, my articles will touch someone's heart and give the world the opportunity to smile.

was accepting Christ as my personal Savior. My second best moment was getting accepted to college.
