Susan E. Carr is a Canadian freelance writer and entrepreneur living in British Columbia. She is a member of the Federation of BC Writers and the Professional Writers' Association of Canada (PWAC).. Susan has a Certificate of Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia and a Certificate in Tourism, Province of British Columbia. Combining writing about tourism with volunteering in the same genre includes working with the Friends of the Fort at the Fort Langley Historical Site and in the past Tourism Vancouver Visitor Center (2010 Olympics). Owning and operating a log home vacation rental in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia completes this ongoing passion. Susan has published articles and clips in various publications such as RidersWest, LiveLife Travel, Canadian Event Perspective Magazine,Yahoo Canada, The Vancouver Sun Newspaper, Suite 101, Associated Content, Bukisa, Triond and Trassler. Susan works for an American Company GPSMYCITY.com in developing walking tours for the City of Vancouver. These are downloaded Apple apps for IPODs, Blackberry etc. The tours include GPS, audio, photography, interviews and writing.
