I have spent most of my life writing in one form or another, I don't remember a time when I wasn't at school, or college, or university. Learning is what I do best and writing about it is a logical next step. I have a degree in English, and have gone on to complete my teacher training.
I am just beginning my career as a teacher. Having recently secured my first job, I am keen to share some of the experience I am gaining, and the advice I am being given.
I am a very active person who enjoys the outdoors, especially if it is really hot or really cold! I snowboard in the winter, and am slowly getting better. I also enjoy sport and exercise. As an English teacher I do like my time to read, it relaxes me and I find books absorbing. I have recently finished reading a batch of very good books and have re-affirmed my faith in good writing!
Travel is another passion of mine and I enjoy visiting new places and learning about other cultures. I have traveled across most of Wetsern Europe, some of America, briefely visited Canada and spent some time in Morrocco. My travel plans for this year are another trip to Canada to enjoy its wonderful snow, and a summer break to Cyprus - to meet my boyfriend's family.
I live in the South West of England and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful landscapes and inspiring countryside every day. I love my local area, and I love England. I am very proud of my country and feel it should be celebrated, because it is full of wonderful things.
I blog too...its often a bit out of date and sightly rusty...but I hear it makes some people laugh now and again! It is a pouring of my brain into the internet, so at times it slightly random...
