It was just the other day when I realized
What you really meant by the look in your eyes
And it was that very moment when I knew
That what we have is special and would always be true
And baby, I miss you

I've been counting the days till you return
As the tears roll down my cheek, the pillow they burn
Until the day you left, I have never felt so blue
Now I sit here alone, waiting for you

You've been away now far too long
