I'm born and raised in Chicago, the focal migrating point of many from the Delta of Mississippi and Louisiana. My ancestry is mixed, I even had a German Grandfather and a Native American great-grandmother. I'm and educator in a family of many outstanding teachers. I'm a Departmental Science teacher of grades 5th through 8th in the Archdiocese for 10 years. Current Basketball coach and former DJ of some renown. Assistant pastor of a local community church. Serving as a willing "armor bearer" of a pastor who paid many dues in the civil rights movement of years passed.
Ran computers for a large well known bank in downtown Chicago, was route-salesman for Vitner Snack Company and Parkerhouse Sausage Company for several years. I put my self through college using my GI Benefits and hacking a cab for Checker Cab during evening and night shifts. I spent several years as a real estate salesperson and had the pleasure of selling my present home to myself using the commission from that sale for the down payment. Also did taxes for H&R block and was one of their top agents in the 90's. Have a few small businesses that I work out of my home including a tax service by appointment with great acknowledgments from the IRS for error-less reporting of customer tax returns. That's not the half of it.
Currently finishing up my Masters in Elementary Education and will be pursuing a Masters in Theology. I love people and love to serve the public. Motivating children to achieve their goals is my passion outside of serving the Lord. I'm a published poet and currently,I'm creating a book of poetry and wise sayings from life lessons of my experience. Finally, I'm trying to create a Math and Science Camp for inner city youth and gathering content for a math book to encourage critical thinking and problem solving.
