Why I write ...

Probably the best answer I can give is that I write because 1) I desire to and 2) it is something I can do and can do well. Possibly I am better at writing than I am at anything, although I probably haven't hit "anything" yet.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Reading: The Idiot, by Dostoevsky, Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo, Winter's Tale, by Mark Helprin, and books by Umberto Eco. There are others, but I don't want to take the time to list them all. Watching: 24 Poker. Listenting to: Jazz/Blues.

My inspiration ...

Inspiration--what's that? Seriously, I' m inspired by myself. Seriously.
