John Dullaghan has a book of poems available in the book section at Amazon.com and at https://www.createspace.com/3347948. He has also had poems published by the following magazines: The Advocate (6x-13 poems and 1 drawing), Parnassuss Literary Journal (3 poems), inky blue, Writer's Exchange, and chips off the writers block. Mind Over Matter is his first full length book. Since he was 6 yrs old in 1972, he has been attending professional football games (NY Jets) with his father. Born in the Bronx, NY, his family moved to Yonkers, NY, when he was ten years old, and then to Middletown, NY at 13. He joined the US Navy at 18 and was stationed in San Diego, CA, and Groton, CT (where he played two years on the hockey team). John and his wife Frances have two children, Katie, 6, and John, 3, and live in upstate NY.

Lost and Found Lost my focus Lost my way I am - Without my wife and kids today Now; Don't get me wrong I love a chance to be alone, because There are always plenty of things to do When the world is finally done with you (but still...) My lifelines are gone Without a trace And now there is this hollow space Staring like a moron At the damn TV I cannot tear my eyes away Convergence with the enemy Lost in life, lost in lies This tired body needs some time... But there are so many things to do When the world is finally through with you Still cannot bear to turn it off I'm grazing on the rancid...
