Jesus Christ (Jesus of Nazareth) made many sacrifices in his life. His two major sacrifices were: his crucifixion and his retreat into the desert. His crucifixion was his single greatest sacrifice. After being arrested by the Romans, soldiers lead Jesus to the Place of the Skull, where he was to be crucified. They made him carry a heavy cross to the destination.
