About me - Pat Dowdy

About me

Pat Dowdy hailed from a diverse background in business and public service before launching a recent writing career.

Dowdy's published print works include non-fiction articles for New Dimension Magazine and The Iconoclast Newsletter. A Time Later On, Dowdy's first short story, appeared in the early 1980's anthology: Authors To Watch.

Letting the writing rest for almost two decades, Dowdy pursued careers in the corporate housing market and in several non-profit economic and housing development efforts in Los Angeles.

Dowdy accomplished a bachelors degree in French at Fort Valley State College in Georgia and a Masters in Public Administration from Los Angeles' University of Southern California.

A mystery novel work in progress, Dowdy's e-blog can be purused at www.jael.gather.com.
