About me - Orville Burch

About me

My name is Orville Burch and I am a strategic planning consultant and sales motivation trainer.

My backgound could not be more unusual. I grew up on a self-sufficient farm where we raised all of our food along with many head of cattle. I left the farm to attend college where I studied biology and earned a PhD. I taught for a few years and at the same time began an environmental consulting business, which became successful. I sold the business to two of my partners and started working for various nonprofit organizations across the United States, including a Native American organization, a homeless shelter, community action, nursing homes, private schools etc.

In 2001 I formed an new unique consulting business that focuses on assisting nonprofit organizations with organizational development. I currently run that business full-time.

In 2006 I wrote my first non-fiction book "Warrior Power: Unlock The Power Within". I am now writing two additional books along with two fiction books.
