I am a writer/artist living in South Chicagoland. At the moment, I am seven months pregnant and struggling at two full-time jobs to try and keep the bills paid and my local gaming store open. Aside from artwork and writing, I also love to sing, listen to music, read, play video games, watch movies, learn new things on the Internet, explore my community, and enjoy the ever-changing beauty of Lake Michigan.
My passion is ...
I could never narrow it down to just one passion!
I know too much about ...
One can never know too much...aside from things requiring the Witness Protection Program...
My parents always told me ...
clean your room!
My childhood ambition ...
I wanted to be a doctor...then an opera singer...then a horticulturalist/botanist...then an actress/artist/creative consultant/director/editor/producer/writer/business owner/mother/the very model of a modern major general
My favorite memory ...
I love waking up next to my beloved, especially when we wake up at about the same time, look at each other, smile, and say, "I love you."
Why I write ...
For me, writing is like breathing-if I am not writing, I am not living
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I'm reading books on advertising and telecommuting, watching whatever I can get on youtube, and listening to whatever happens to be playing
My first job ...
I babysat children whose parents were friends with my mother
My best moment ...
It would have to be the moment that I accepted Jesus Christ on Mother's Day 1987; with God's help, I have been able to do things I never thought possible and survive tragedies that would break the heartiest spirit.
My inspiration ...
Life is my inspiration-if I am not interacting with other living creatures, it is difficult to be inspired to do anything!
Who was Gary Gygax? To some people, he was a creative genius, taking tabletop games in a previously unexplored and unused direction that changed the face of gaming and led to legendary games such as tabletop gaming's Magic: The Gathering and video gaming's Final Fantasy series.
