Rolling Rock extra pale lager, from Latrobe PA, is my poison of choice. Overall it seems like a fairly standard beer; nice and light, reasonably priced. But the Rock is far from a regular bottle of American suds. Before even popping the top you will notice the distinctive label. blue letter on a white background painted on green glass identify your beverage as something special. The mysterious "33" printed on the back leaves everyone (even the brewers) wondering. Does it refer to the 1933 repeal of prohibition? Or is it a not to the freemasons, amongst whom the level 33 is the highest one ...
