I am 24 yrs old. Living in Florida where I was born and raised. Growing up in a small city spending most of my childhood outside, exploring and getting into mischief. I found interest in writing and poetry shortly after my grandmother got sick. It was a silent way for me to get out my emotions in a desperate time. It is a gift she gave me that is everlasting as I have been writing ever since. It has become a passion much like photography and drawing. Being artistic from a young age I suppose it is a natural progression as I have traded musical instruments for writing instruments that I can't seem to put down...

to show creativity. To express feelings, and translate to others, what I wouldn't be able to speaking.

As I sit here, alone with my thoughts, my mind can't help but to wander. We are half way through the year and already so many things have happened in my life. Some good, some amazing, and some quite dark. We all go through the same hardships in life at one point or another. The situations may be different, and the circumstances but altimately we end up at the same road. I can't help but to think back on my life and everything that I have been through.
