I am a 36 year old Mother of 3 wonderful kids. My 2 boys are going to be 16 and 14 this year and my Daughter will be 11 in just a few months now.

I aspired to be a writer when I was in High School, but chose a different path. Now after years of rue - I feel I am getting back on track, some of us are late bloomers you know!

I write from the heart and I have a motto of "brutal honesty"

Since I am a Mother of 3, two of which are teenage boys , I can honestly say that I have almost tried everything as far as adjusting their attitudes go. Sadly, after countless phone calls, endless discussions and even a few Dr. Phil episodes - I do believe I have found the key to success with this problem. I have found that this generation that is now in their teens is actually lacking a very valuable component to being a successful individual in life - RESPECT.

I found that I was letting FAR too much attitude just 'slide by'. A little lip here, some sass there and next thing you know...
