Sometimes you watch a movie, and even though it could be slightly unrealistic, a movie just resonates with you. XX/XY (2002) could have been someone's past. I wouldn't put it past anyone. It wasn't mine, but I know what the characters felt when they met 10 years later after their first encounter. Coles Burroughs (Mark Ruffalo) meets Sam (Maya Stange) when she is just a student at Sarah Lawrence College in 1993.
